Healthcare services are expanding across Ashford. Public and
private sector investment is being ploughed into the region to
provide health centres and facilities, helping to support Ashford's
ambitious development programme.
- Ashford has two primary health centres and has plans for two
more. These centres provide far-reaching facilities ranging from
traditional medical support to specialised services such as minor
surgery and counselling.
- Ashford has 74 registered GP's, 15 dental practises and the
William Harvey which has benefited from a multi-million pound
investment to improve its services.
- A new Primary Health Care Centre in South Ashford, St Stephens
Walk

provides
traditional general health care alongside a variety of clinics and
services supported by the special interests of GPs.
- Care in the community caters for a diverse range of individual
needs, from providing the best start in life to a child or a sense
of independence to a vulnerable adult.
