RAIL

The High Speed 1 (HS1) rail link connects Ashford with London in just 38 minutes, cutting travel time in half. There are now two trains every hour, every day, all day, keeping Ashford well connected to the captial's businesses and lesiure attractions.

Ashford International Station is readily accessible from both the M20 by road and from most of Kent and East Sussex via five rail lines which converge at Ashford.

Eurostar daily passenger services connect to Paris in just two hours, Lille in 57 minutes and Brussels in less than 90 minutes. There are also daily services to Disneyland® Resort Paris as and weekly services to Avignon during the summer and the French Alps during the winter.

Freight and passenger traffic passes through the Eurotunnel departure point at nearby Folkestone, taking just 35 minutes to Calais.

ROAD

Road links connect Ashford with most European cities within a day. Two major motorways, the M20 and M2, provide easy access to continental Europe and beyond through the Channel Tunnel.

In recent years there have been capacity improvements to both Junction 9 and 10 of the M20 and nearby Drovers Roundabout, as well as the former ring road around the town centre being remodelled, meaning Ashford benefits from improved access in and around the town.

AIR

Ashford offers ready access to London’s two main airports - Heathrow and Gatwick - within 90 minutes. London Ashford Airport (Lydd) and Kent International Airport (Manston) are both improving their excellent facilities by investing in phased multi-million pound redevelopment programmes.

SEA

The Port of Dover is within easy reach of Ashford – some 25 minutes away. The world's busiest roll-on, roll-off ferry terminal, it handles up to 2.3 million freight vehicles per year.
