Voluntary Sector
Ashford has more than 850 organisations providing over
£150 million pounds worth of services each
year, with more than 12,000 people volunteering at least
once each month.
Most organisations are charities, some employ specialists, but
many are informal volunteer based groups employing over 3,000 full
and part time workers.
