Domestic services on the High Speed 1 ( HS1) rail link will connect Ashford with London in just 37 minutes from 2009, cutting travel time in half.

Ashford International Station is readily accessible from both the M20 by road and from most of Kent and East Sussex via 5 rail lines which converge at Ashford.

The current Eurostar passenger service to Paris takes just two hours, while Lille is 57 minutes away. Ashford International has three daily services to Paris and a daily service to Disneyland® Resort Paris as well as its weekly services to Avignon during the summer and the French Alps during the winter.

Travellers for Brussels are able to change at Lille, where there are also rail connections to the south of France and across Europe. From December Eurostar will be reintroducing a direct Brussels service.

Freight and passenger traffic passes through the Eurotunnel departure point at nearby Folkestone, taking just 35 minutes to Calais.
